In short: I only collect the information needed to give you your results, reply to you, run consultations and the Kidney & Health Club, and send you emails you've signed up for. I don't sell your data. You can ask me to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing drarjun@drarjunsabharwal.com.
1. Who is responsible for your data
This website, healthwithdrarjun.com, is run by Dr Arjun Sabharwal ("I", "me"). For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), I am the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website.

2. What I collect
- Health tools (Kidney Risk Score, Cholesterol Risk Score, Protein Intake Calculator, Is Creatine Safe for You?): your answers, which can include health information such as age, medical conditions, test results and medicines, and your name and email address if you enter them.
- Email list: your name and email address, and which emails you open or click, when you sign up through a health tool.
- Consultation bookings: your name, contact details, appointment time and anything you choose to tell me when booking.
- Payments for the Kidney & Health Club and guides: your name, contact details and payment confirmation. Card and bank details are handled by the payment provider, and I never see them.
- Messages you send me by email, phone or Instagram.
- Technical data: basic information such as your browser type and IP address, collected automatically by the website host and embedded services for security and to make the site work, and anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, buttons clicked, approximate location) collected through Google Analytics.
3. Why I use it
- To show you your tool results and send you the follow-up information you asked for.
- To send you health education emails and updates about the Kidney & Health Club, consultations and guides. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To arrange and carry out consultations, and to reply to your messages.
- To give you access to the Kidney & Health Club and guides you have paid for.
- To understand how the website is used so I can improve it.
- To keep the website secure and working properly, and to meet legal obligations.
I process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you use a tool, sign up, book or pay, and for legitimate uses allowed under the DPDP Act. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 6). Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything done before you withdrew it.
4. Who I share it with
I don't sell or rent your personal data. I use trusted service providers who process data on my behalf, only to provide their service:
- Fillout: runs the health tool forms.
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit): sends emails and manages the email list.
- DaySchedule: consultation booking.
- Razorpay: payments for the club and guides.
- Wix: hosts this website.
- Google: email, the embedded map, and Google Analytics, which tells me how many people visit, which pages and buttons they use, and roughly where they are (city or country level). It uses cookies and does not tell me who you are.
- YouTube and Instagram (Meta): embedded video and direct messages.
Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India. I may also share data if required by law or to protect someone's safety.
5. How long I keep it
I keep your data only for as long as needed for the purposes above. Email list data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. Consultation and payment records are kept for as long as required for medical, tax and legal reasons. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- get a summary of the personal data I hold about you and how it is used;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or updated;
- have your data deleted when it is no longer needed, or when you withdraw consent;
- withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to; and
- have your concerns addressed through grievance redressal (section 9).

7. Children
This website is intended for adults. If you are under 18, please use the health tools, sign up or book only with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian.
8. Keeping your data safe
I use reputable providers with appropriate security, secure (https) connections, and limit access to your data to what is needed. No online service can be completely secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive information by Instagram message.
9. Questions and complaints
If you have a question or concern about how your data is handled, contact me first at drarjun@drarjunsabharwal.com and I will respond as soon as possible. If you are not satisfied with my response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once it is accepting complaints.
10. Medical information
The health tools and content on this website are for general education only. They are not a diagnosis and do not replace a personal consultation with a doctor.

I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
